Training for Academic Chairs & Deans
Janet is a seasoned leader with experience from association executives and academic leadership including served terms as Department Chair. She is currently the Chair Support Coordinator for Mount Royal University. She would be pleased to offer onsite training, webinar-based support and/or consultation services for academic leaders including assistant chairs, chairs, associate deans, deans, directors and managers working in post-secondary settings.
One-Time Training
Dr. Miller has organized training for student clubs, university departments, and community organizations on a variety of topics including burnout prevention, stress management, conflict resolution, team building, and leadership. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training - (ASIST Workshop)
ASIST is a standardized, interactive, two-day suicide first-aid workshop. Janet has been a trainer with the Centre for Suicide Prevention for nearly 20 years.
